If you have a 400-series guitar made in the early- to mid-60s, you may have one that uses a shortened tailpiece.  If so, this the combo for you: a shortened tailpiece (to fit inside the narrower guard opening) with an integrated Tune-O-Matic bridge.  You can choose between the classic ABR-1, the newer Nashville bridge, or the 12-saddle.  The bridge saddles are unnotched with a 12" saddle radius.

Mounting screws are included.

  • Because these tailpieces were installed inconsistently, you must provide us with the distance from the center of the crown on the 12th fret to the center of the three tailpiece mounting holes in the guitar body so we can put the mounting studs in the right place relative to the tailpiece (proper intonation and all that).  If this is new construction or if you don't mind potentially moving the tailpiece, we can put the studs in a standard location and you can position the tailpiece accordingly.
